Position Description:
The Customer Success Specialist will be primarily dedicated to the sales team and will be responsible for communicating with clients as well as IT Mindshare staff to ensure that our clients are satisfied. The Customer Success Specialist will also set appointments for the sales team from both internal and external clients. This will include phone calls, emails and in-person meetings and networking events. The perfect candidate will also be able to assist with proposal preparation and assist the sales team with proof-reading, follow-up and follow-through as it relates to sales. The Customer Success Specialist reports directly to the Director of Sales and will work closely with the operations and finance team as well. In general, the Customer Success Specialist will be available to assist sales with efficiency, book appointments, communicate with clients on project status and perform inside sales where applicable.

  • Love talking to people, meeting with people and with an upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and solve problems.
  • One (1) or more years of experience working in an office setting.
  • One (1) or more years of customer service working with people and interacting with people professionally.
  • Must be able to self-manage, especially as it relates to administrative tasks, paperwork, scheduling and client interaction.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a sales team especially as it relates to scheduling and closing sales opportunities.
  • Excellent customer service such as communication, follow-up, conflict resolution with overall client satisfaction as the goal.
  • Willingness to learn new technology and be able to explain and sell it to clients.
  • Ability to speak and write clearly and professionally.
  • Valid driver’s license with minimal points on the driving record.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Technology and Security knowledge and/or experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Sales experience with companies requiring IT, security and phone service.
  • Experience working in a small company environment (under 50 employees).
  • Experience working for a Managed Services Provider and/or telecommunications provider.

Position Requirements & Description:

  • Effectively communicates with current and potential clients and ensure that their expectations are being met.
  • Sets appointments for the sales team and go on sales meetings with the sales team and by yourself.
  • Serves as an assistant to the sales team to help with document preparation and scheduling.
  • Communicates with current clients to make sure they are happy and if there are any cross-sale opportunities.
  • Informs and assists customers regarding technical and specialized merchandise; demonstrates use upon request.
  • Utilizes IT Mindshare systems to entire in small change/add orders for the sales team.
  • Plans special promotions; coordinates advertising, procurement of specialized merchandise, staff scheduling, and event marketing.
  • Compiles and tracks sales data for evaluation.
  • Generates and keeps track of sales leads.
  • Fill in for both junior and senior level team members as the need arises.
